Hello! Are you looking for a nap buddy who loves to snuggle? If yes, then I’m your man! I LOVE naps and if I’m snuggled up close to my human, I’m the happiest!

Is that my shadow? Nope it's just Winstoni (Winston). Winston would be around his humans all day & night if he had anything to say about it. Winston is cautious and shy at first but after some patience and reassurance his personality turns to goofy and affectionate. He loves to just be around his people and snuggle. Winston likes to play fetch but is overall still learning to "play". Like any big dog, he doesn't know his own strength and thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to sit on your feet for some love and pets and can curl up into the tiniest ball for naps and snuggles. Extremely food motivated and a problem solver (almost to a fault) - even if the "problem" is "how do I get out or in a blocked off room?" He will do so by jumping on top of his kennel or anything that will help him get over whatever the blockade is; if there's nothing to jump on he will simply try to go right through it. He’s a happy fella who is not destructive of shoes, doors or couches.

He hasn’t barked yet but his "talking" is high pitched and at times sounds like a baby bird (LOL). Where’s Winston? No need to look too far if he is sleeping, you will be able to hear it. If they made a doggy C-pap, Winston would be first in line with all that snoring. We are working on some separation anxiety and I’m sure once he feels safe and comfortable, it’ll even get better.

Winston has an adorable nature to just want to be loved at all times. You’ll never want for affection from this fella!

Winstoni weighs 59 lbs and is from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
