Hi, my name is Emmyline. I'm the cutest little lab mix all the way from Houston, TX. I currently live in a house with 2 resident dogs and my brother who was brought up from Texas with me. We all get along very well and have a lot of fun running around the yard together. I like to chase balls in the backyard, but I'm a pretty independent gal. I will pick out a toy and bring it back to my bed and play with it by myself. Or I will lay down in the grass and find a nice stick to chew on.
When I'm not rough-housing my brother, I'm a pretty gentle pup … not mouthy. I am really sweet to the humans and will do well with any type of family. When you are walking my way, I get really excited and my whole body will wiggle when I wag my tail. I’m really hoping that you will pick me up and give me belly rubs.
I'm doing well with my potty-training, and haven't had any accidents in the house for a while! We have been working on some training and I am catching on real quick to ‘sit’ … I love treats so I’ll be easy to train. I sleep well in my kennel all night and I don't make too much noise while I'm in there, besides my snoring.
Emmyline is a typical puppy- full of energy and affection! She loves to be outside running and playing and then wants a lap to crash in and get all the puppy snuggles. She’s been a great house guest and we know that she will be the best pup ever. She would be a delightful addition to any family.
Emmyline weighs 20 pounds (but is still growing) and is an owner surrender from Texas.
Since this dog is coming from Texas where heartworm disease is highly prevalent, there is a chance that even if they test negative for heartworm now they may be positive in the future as it takes microfilariae 5 to 7 months to mature into adult heartworms after infection.
