Skywalker is potty trained, quiet, friendly, and gets along well with others. He has been around children, adults, and small dogs.   He is a good boy and is leash trained, crate trained, and does well in a car. He likes the water and his toys and is gentle, affectionate, and playful.    Skywalker is very friendly and great with small kids and other dogs. He enjoys being pet and lots of attention. He’s very happy to see people and still learning not to jump up when he greets them. He loves other dogs but would do fine as an only dog because he would love all the attention. He would be a wonderful family dog and even has had some basic training.

Skywalker weighs 30 lbs and was found in Texas as a stray. They arrive in Minnesota on 5/21 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available only through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a contract.
