Hi there, my name is Virgo, but you can call me Virgie too! My cat family and I were living in a hay barn on a farm. There were far too many of us on the property -luckily, Ruff Start Rescue was contacted and I am now healthy and living the good life as an indoor cat!

A few of my favorite things are: my brother Cricket, lick treats, toys of all kinds (especially motion toys and wand toys), and lots and lots of pets and lovin’s from humans. I am low-key, affectionate, and VERY sweet. That being said, I absolutely will head butt the bag of cat kibble when you are pouring it and make it spill everywhere, hahaha! Sorry, I’m affectionate towards everything, including inanimate objects! I like to make “air biscuits” as I stand (kind of funny, I know), and if you’re taking a nap, I’ll curl up right on top of you! Did I mention I’m incredibly sweet? I think you get the idea!

Me and my brother love to snuggle, wrassle, chase, and play with each other! I am teaching him that humans are good and it's fun to get pets - he's a little uncertain right now but he has made strides in foster care! Because Cricket and I are bonded, we must be adopted together. Click here to learn more about him.

My foster home has a dog, and I guess I’m kind of unsure of her and usually keep my distance. I’m not afraid, but I’ve noticed she can be kind of a grump sometimes. I think I’d like a dog who wants to be friends with me!

I can’t wait to meet my forever person(s) and start my new life as a loved member of a household! I didn’t know I would luck out and end up getting to be an indoor kitty; I am so excited and I have so much love to give! XOXO, Virgo

UPDATE:  After some veterinary work it was determined I have a chronic upper respiratory infection, at this time there is no further care needed but my adopter should know I can have flare ups with congestion and sneezing.. My future adopter may need to follow up with their veterinarian.
