Ready for a handsome pup in your life? Ace is a very good boy that takes treats gently and loves to be with his people, likes to snuggle/lay on your lap and loves to go with the family in the car or in the yard etc. He does well free roaming at home when we are gone or is fine in his kennel as well. We leave his kennel open and available to him all day and he will go in there and relax/nap or choose to sleep there part of the night. He does like to sleep in bed with his people too.

He loves to go on walks and does well with not getting too distracted by other animals or people we walk by. He likes to play with toys/chew on bones (he doesn’t bring a ball back but will chase it when you throw). If new people come to the house/yard he will bark and he does warm up after meeting, but is cautious at first so slow and supervised intros are advised. Ace seems to be a little more cautious with men and he gets concerned if people are arguing or kids wrestling and will try get in and see who needs help. He also is overwhelmed or confused by infants and has barked a bit at them, which isn't helpful for naps and such, so a home with older and dog-savvy children is best (maybe above 10). Ace has lived with a dog in the past and we have not introduced him to cats. Ace can also be quite vocal to outside noises, so will need a home without shared walls! Ace is a big clumsy guy who also thinks he fits on anyone’s lap. He’s a big, handsome boy waiting for his forever family. Is that you?
Ace is from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
