Hi, My name is RachelMarine. I was born on March 13th in a small rural shelter in western MN. My siblings, mom and auntie transferred to Ruff Start a few weeks later. I was born the day before Pi Day so, my siblings and I were named after people involved with math and science. I was named after Rachel Carson, a marine biologist.

Something you should know about me... the vet said I inherited   my mom's bad gums. The condition is called Stomatitis (red, irritated gums) and I'm going to require some dental care in my future. Please don't let any of this scare you. The vet did recommend that if there is another cat in the home they must be up to date on their vaccines. The vaccines help prevent against viruses. Safety is important for everyone.

I'm attached to my momma, Artemis. We would love to be adopted together and qualify for the Mom and Me Program.   When we are adopted as a pair, Momma's adoption fee is only $25!   Click here to find out more about her.

My foster mom says I'm the sweetest kitty ever. My fur is short but extremely soft - a must feel! Be prepared for "biscuit making", because the minute you pick me up I b egin kneading. I love my foster mom but my stay here is only to be short term and I'm beyond ready to find my own family and home. I'm smaller than my siblings but don't let that fool you. I'm quick for my size! My foster mom says I've gotten good at escaping from our room. The minute I hear the gate I get ready for the door to open and I'm gone! Off to explore the rest of the house before my foster mom comes to scoop me up.

RachelMarine came from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
