Hello and nice to meet you. I’ve had a pretty rough start in life as I came to MN from a reservation in SD and I’m recovering from mange so I am pretty scratchy. My foster thinks I’m going to be a tall girl and possibly large judging from my big puppy paws. I really want to play with the resident chihuahua but he is very unsocial. My foster mom thinks it’s pretty comical watching me try to get him to play with me; I’m a pup and want to be friends after all! I’ll walk on a leash when I want and I’m getting better at this. Because I’m still a pup, I need to learn manners. I do like to chew on things, so my foster family is introducing toys to discourage chewing on the wrong items. I promise I’ll figure it out. I also like my voice so I bark when I want to play. My foster is discouraging this as I get loud and that’s not good behavior. I will sleep in my crate but I really don’t like the door latched. I’m still learning to trust. I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but I’m getting used to that as I know it’s sometimes necessary until I learn some better manners and obedience.

Once I get more acclimated to life in a home with a regular routine, I know I’ll be my best self. I’m looking forward to meeting my new forever family real soon!
