Hi there I’m Calista, but my foster family calls me Cali. I am a fun-loving girl who just loves everyone I meet. I do tend to bark when I see a new person or dog but that’s just because I am so excited to make new friends. Once I have been introduced, I quiet down. I am looking for a family of my own that can keep up with my energy or that has another dog that I can play with. I just LOVE to wrestle with the resident dogs. My foster mom laughs at me because sometimes I get vocal when playing and she says I sound like a whale. I sleep in a kennel at night right now and am quiet but would love to be able to curl up with my family and snuggle at night. I am working on my manners when it comes to jumping and pulling on a leash but usually if you say no I correct my behavior. I haven’t been around cats but there are chickens where I live now and I am very curious about them. So either no cats or a very dog-savvy cat would be ideal.

I know where I am supposed to go potty and when I need to go I go to the door and let you know. Sometimes it's by pacing, other times if I really have to go I will whine. Once I have had a chance to get my zoomies out there is nothing better than laying in my dog bed chewing on a bone or toy. My foster mom has told me she is impressed with how well I share with the other dogs in the house.

Like I said I am just a loveable girl who would like to have a family of her own. If you think that might be you, turn in an application!
