Hi, my name is Muñeca (pronounced moon-yay-ca) or Moon for short, and I came from a Local Impound. I currently weigh 65 lbs.

You may think you know the greatest love of your life, but I'm here to prove you wrong. Despite being abandoned by my family, I think humans are the greatest species ever and my main goal in life is loving them. I will follow you around everywhere you go, crawl into your lap whenever I get the chance, and shower you with kisses.  You can tell how big my heart is by my kind, soulful brown eyes.
Other than earning my title for the biggest sweetheart on the planet, a few of my favorite things include playing with my foster sister, romping around in the snow, and going for walks. My feline foster siblings don't like me at all. We have to be separated because I have a high prey drive. I am potty trained and do well in my plastic crate as long as I am in a communal area. I whine sometimes, but luckily I'm pretty quiet otherwise (my foster family hasn't even heard me bark yet)!

I have no behavioral issues, but I do need to work on my manners and basic obedience. I hope my new family will teach me all the things I need to know to become a good canine citizen because I really want to be the best girl for them! It's easy to teach me things because I'm very sensitive to being told "no". I really don't like disappointing my people. I'm smart and learn quickly, so you usually only need to tell me once. One other thing to know about me is while I am very well behaved and quiet in the car, I do tend to get car sick. I'm not sure if it's because I don't have much experience being in a car or if I'm just worried about where I'm going, but as long as you give me a few minutes to regroup when we stop, I am good to go.

I'm sure I would absolutely love kids because they are smaller versions of my favorite species ever. Very small children might not be the best for me at this stage in my life because I do need to work on what humans call "personal space" and may knock them over while I'm trying to play.

I hope that my new home is one that will cuddle with me, bring me on outdoor adventures, and set clear expectations for me since all I want is to make them happy.

If you are interested in getting to know me better, please fill out an adoption application . An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
