Hi, my name is Delightful-Daisy but I also go by Delightful Daisy, Daisy Duke, and Oopsie Daisy! I came from Yankton Sioux Reservation in South Dakota as an Owner Surrender. I currently weigh 60 lbs but I'm working on adding a few more pounds.

One other thing you should know about me is that I'm a tri-pod! I lost a leg (making me a tripod) due to an accident when I was a puppy and am scheduled to have my left eye removed in January. Nonetheless, I haven't lost any spirit! I've had a tough couple of years and just want a family that loves me as much as I love them in return.

My foster parents describe me as very soft, playful, loyal, and sweet. I'd love to be your shadow. I am potty trained, do well in a crate, and am eager to learn more. I am so happy to have come to Minnesota mid-winter, as I love bounding through the snow and eating it for a snack. Being a tripod hasn't slowed me down one bit, though my foster parents admit there is one advantage to being a tripod - I don't counter surf, won't jump on guests, and don't try jumping up on the couch.

I will require an owner who has shepherd experience and will provide mental and physical stimulation along with training routine/obedience classes. I would do best in a home with no other dog siblings or with dog siblings (and parents) that understand social cues and accept my style of play - which, I'll admit is a bit aggressive and mouthy. Because of this, I'd also need a home without small children. I can't wait to finally meet my furever family! Is that you?
