Hi, my name is Rocky and I came from Local Impound. I currently weigh 60 lbs.

I like being called Rocky Ricola Pajama Pants because it sounds more pretty and Roxy is also an acceptable nice name. You can see from my profile photos, I am one beautiful girl. I should note I was a bit concerned when my collar was removed and replaced with a necklace, so don't mind my tucked ears.

I was surrendered to the shelter with another pitty (likely my daughter or sister) and a Shih Tzu, who I adored. Seeing my canine friends made me all happy and wiggly. I found the shelter to be pretty scary overall, but I met some human friends who saw me as the wiggly happy girl my best self is.

After I love you, I am tons of delightful, bubbly energy and love giving kisses. I am a good listener and love training time and pick up quickly on new skills. I am kennel trained, and have even done well without a kennel. I love playing with toys and chewing bones.  With other dogs I can come on a but hard and fast, so I prefer slow intros. I am a really good listener so that helps. I have a strong desire to please and be a good girl.

My energy level is pretty moderate. I like playing and have the "zoomies" occasionally, but I am also content just to relax. My foster mom sometimes works long days and I have been completely accident free. I have also allowed her to trim my nails and clean my ears.

I would be a great fit in a quieter home that has a nice routine. I thrive with structure and knowing what is needed. I also will confess I have a very quiet bark so could be a fit for someone who lives in bully breed friendly housing with shared walls. My life has been a little chaotic, so I am looking for my forever person(s). If you have a nice selection of toys with squeakers and a budget to replace ones I de-squeak, let's talk.

If you are interested in getting to know me better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
