Hi, my name is Gooch and I came from the Lake Traverse Reservation in South Dakota. I currently weigh 55lbs. I'm so excited to meet you! My foster mom says I'm a goofball, I don't know what that means but she also tells me what a good boy I am so it must be a good thing.
I just arrived in my foster home so I'm still learning a new way of life but I think living inside will be very nice. I'm used to being outside so that's where I go potty and so far I haven't had any accidents in the house or my crate. Speaking of the crate, it's not my favorite place but I will go in for treats and after a bit of whining I quiet down and relax. I would much rather be with the people because I just love showing them how smart and affectionate I am.
I know how to sit and I listen pretty well. I just started going on walks and they are so fun! Mom says I'm bouncy - whatever that means - but I walk with a big smile on my face.
I'm still pretty young so I act like a puppy but I'm a bit bigger than I realize. I might be a little too excited for really little kids but I love people of all sizes.
I also love being around other dogs that like to play and share my enthusiasm but I think I would also be fine being the only dog and getting all the attention.
I would love a yard to romp around in and bonus points if you will throw a ball for me to fetch. Don't worry, after some play time I also love to cuddle up next to you or even lay on your lap if you let me.
I'm just a happy guy and I can't wait to be your best friend!
