Hi there! My name is Coroa and I came to Ruff Start from Texas originally. Well, actually - I’m still there! Since I haven’t arrived in Minnesota yet, I’m available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) Program. To learn more about the FTA program, please visit www.ruffstartrescue.org/adopt/fostering-to-adopt-available-animals/

I was picked up by Animal Control and brought to the shelter in Houston after I was found living on the street. I'm living in a foster home right now, and boy oh boy.. is that way better than living as a stray! Now I get to live in a comfy home with other dogs (big & small), children (young & older), and adults. I do fantastic with everyone I live with! I'm super friendly with new people as well, so any company you have over will fall head over heels for me too. ;) I'm still working on my potty training, but I'm hoping to be soon. I think with some positive reinforcements like treats, pets, and a consistent schedule, I will! I'm still working through my basic manners, so I would really benefit from a basic training class. Plus that seems fun because I can see other dogs and get treats! Win win for me! Although I have accidents sometimes, I keep my kennel clean when my foster family has to leave the house. I love playing with other dogs, so I'm secretly hoping you have some puppy friends waiting for me at your house. Do I sound like your newest family member? I sure hope so!

I arrive in Minnesota on 12/4/21 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Once I get there, I might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as my foster, you will be required to transport me to and from these vetting appointments.
