Hi, my name is Christy and I came from a reservation partner. I currently weigh 45 pounds.  This is what my foster has to say about me:

Suvi (FKA Christy) is a runners dream! She is eager and can go for miles. She needs leash work yet but it will come; she is very smart.

She is a total sweetheart too! She is so quiet during the day while foster mom works, then she is ready to go as soon as the work clock ends.

Foster mom works from home so has not had to leave Suvi for long periods of time but she has been fine for a few hours. Bonus, she loves her crate at night so if you do have to leave I think she would be fine there. She sleeps in it without a peep all night long.

Suvi loves people, other dogs, and even the two cats in the house. She seems to understand that her grumpy old foster sibling is to be treated gently whereas her equal age foster sibling can be for loads of in and outdoor fun. She is curious about the cats when they walk through but loses interest after a sniff or two. She even met the chickens (through the fence)!
Suvi loves toys, tug, and lots of scratches! She will chase a ball but expecting her to return it is a bit much.  She does well in the car but hasn’t been on any long rides yet. I think she would be just fine.
You definitely want to teach her not to jump if there are little ones or elderly around. She leaps up to say hello to everyone! She responds almost perfectly to ‘sit’ so I think the rest will come pretty easily.
Be careful with open doors or gates; if she gets out you will not catch her easily! She is very fast and very strong. Maybe a sled dog in the making!
