Single younger gal looking for a special guy to call my own!

My name is Kailua but my foster family calls me Koko. I love to run around the yard and play with toys or balls. I am pawsitiviely entertaining when there are bugs around as I like to chase/catch them! I like to play with other dogs, but slow intros are a must to make sure our energy and play styles match. I love to snuggle with hoo-mans once I’ve met them and follow my mom everywhere. I am crate and potty trained. I also love treats of any kind!! I know “sit” and “leave it." I’m working on “down,” “come,” and walking loosely on a leash. Spa days are the best! I love showers and don’t mind having my nails trimmed. Car rides are amazing! Oh, and did I tell you I love love love treats??

It’s obvious that Koko had a family before coming into rescue. Koko loves treats and is highly food motivated, so training will be easier, but her next family needs to be consistent and keep up with her training to help her be the best dog possible. Koko does have a high prey drive, so no cats as their fluffy tails are a bit too much for this girl (fluffy tailed dogs too). A fenced yard would be perfect, but someone who loves to walk every day would be just as good. Koko needs exercise every day. Koko gets super excited when first meeting someone and will jump up, so small children may be an issue. Once she’s met you, she’s your friend for life.

Look at these cute videos of Koko Playing fetch and Cuddling.

And here’s a cute video of Koko sitting and taking a treat nicely.

I believe that with consistent exercise and play, Koko will be less excitable, and age will also help here. I find her to be easily redirected most times. If she is super focused on something, I will say “come,” start counting, and by 3, she is usually sitting in front of me, waiting for a treat. She is a typical pittie who is loving, loyal, and misunderstood. Koko’s perfect home would have a fenced-in yard. Her new best friend would have breed experience or be a strong dog person willing to meet Koko’s need for exercise and training.

Are you the guy (or girl or couple) Koko is looking for??
