Hi there! My name is McDouble, but they call me Mickey. I'm about two years old, full of fun energy and looking for an active family to help me tucker myself out.
I'm food motivated and am eager to learn. I need help learning manners, so a family committed to training me would be ideal! I'm totally potty trained, and, while I will go in a kennel, I prefer to be out with my people.  I walk well on a leash and listen to commands even if I don't know many of them yet. I sleep all night long without a sound. I play alone in my private room very well, keeping myself entertained with my favorite stuffed toy of the day. That being said, I'm looking for a family who is home with me more than away.
I love, love, LOVE my humans, belly rubs and stuffies. I do need slow intros but once I've met you, I'll love you forever! And -- bonus -- I get along well with both cats and dogs. I can be mouthy and quite the jumper, so for that reason I should probably only be with respectful teenagers and adults. Until I learn those manners, anyway.
Foster Mom says I'm very smart, and, with the right family, I will make an amazing family member!
If you are interested in getting to know me better, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
