Hi there, I’m Precious Penny! But really, it’s just Precious, I had to get a middle name when I came into the rescue so that’s where the Penny came from. I’m a beautiful long haired tortie, without the typical tortitude- a win-win if you ask me! I joined Ruff Start Rescue with my sister Brandy, after our family could no longer care for us anymore. Brandy and I have been together our whole lives and are the best of friends! We can’t imagine life without each other after all this time, so we are looking for a family that will adopt us together! I am the outgoing & social one of the pair, I make friends everywhere I turn! I’m the sweetest gal you’ll ever meet! I love pets and will gladly let you know with my loud purr! Although social, I am not overly demanding of your attention, but don’t be shy to approach me first! You may notice I’m a little wobbly on my feet. I had an ear infection when I joined the rescue and when the nice vetting staff performed a flush of my ear it irritated some of the nerves that help control my balance (horners syndrome). I am recovering well but may always be a little off balance, I don’t let it bother me though! Brandy and I are older gals, you can usually find us lounging around and taking long cat naps, none of that crazy kitten energy! My ideal home would be somewhere I could consider my retirement home, a quiet place without too much chaos and busyness.

If you are interested in getting to know me better, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application . An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
