This animal is a part of our "Seniors for Seniors" program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt a pet at a discounted fee.

I am a sweet senior lady looking for a home with my sister Annie. We have lived together our whole lives and need to stay together!

Let me just start out by sharing that I am a polydactyl, which is fancy lingo for I have thumbs, aka big mittens, for paws. My foster mom says my mitten paws are the cutest things she has ever seen and just gushes over them.

Let me share a quirk that I have that surprised foster mom! I love to hide under blankets and take naps. I gave foster mom quite the scare once when she walked into the room and something under the blanket started moving! You guessed it, it was me! I also like the occasional wand toy, but mostly I just want to get and give all the love. I love getting petted and will give love bites or just rub my face on you!

Oh and before I forget! Since I am a senior I do have a few health issues that I need help managing. The first is I have kidney disease which is pretty common for older cats, so I am on a prescription diet which I happily eat. I can be a bit finicky on wet food but enjoy my dry kibble. Also, I have hyperthyroidism, which I take medication for twice a day. Let’s be honest, the medication does not taste good, so foster mom has to bribe me with crunch treats to eat it which works, but occasionally I’ll spit it back up. My foster mom thinks I’m just playing to get more treats!
