Hello! My name is KitKat and I'm what you might consider a work in progress! I'm a project cat if you will! My foster Mom has done a lot of work with me and I'm not to the point where I no longer hide from humans but that might change with a new move. I will be the kind of cat that takes a lot of time to gain trust. I want the love and attention but I get freaked out kind of quickly. My foster Mom just sits quietly in my room and I come right up to her and give her head butts. If I get scared though I swat which means I shouldn't be around kids.
In my previous foster home I was good with other cats but my current foster Mom hasn't tried to introduce me yet. I'm not sure how I would feel about dogs.
My foster Mom had me in a condo for a few weeks which helped me get used to her. That's why I'm no longer afraid when she comes around. I might turn into a love bug cat but I might always be the cat that comes close but doesn't want to be pet. I think I will learn to like pets though... it just might take a long time so I need someone who is prepared to take the challenge long term with me. I purr like no other when you are around though! I also show my belly and kneed and wiggle my way close to you! So what do you say? Are you up for the challenge?
