Scout is a playful, curious kitty. She is still learning how to behave, enjoys the occasional petting, but other times she will get feisty and nibble on you- it’s her way of saying she’s not in the mood! She would do best with humans who are respectful of her warnings and allow her to set the tone and timing of interactions.
Scout is deaf, but that doesn’t stop her! She’s learning about shadows, reflections, and flashlights still, and doesn’t quite understand where the laser toy disappears to. Her humans will quickly learn how to announce their presence with vibrations and not just noise. She may hiss a bit and then love on you once she realizes who it is.
She does enjoy lots of playing! She loves attention and toys. Once comfortable, her favorite toys are feathers on a pole, and she might even take a swipe at your long hair! Lots of energy in this gal.
Scout is very food motivated. She takes big bites, and might accidentally get your fingers if you’re holding her food for her.
Scout is quite friendly with her kitty siblings, and her foster cat siblings(though they don’t have much patience for her antics). She has met a young (energetic, excitable)dog in her foster home, whom she hissed at but still approached. With enough socialization, she will likely warm up to a calmer pup. She has never had any accidents out of the litter box.
Scout is a super sassy, lovable little deaf kitty!
