From the Foster:
Everyone that meets this pocket pitty in-person LOVES her! She's just waiting for you to give her a chance :)
Hi, I'm Glory! Once you give me time to trust you, I'm such a snuggly and fun girl. You see, I've had a hard start to my young life, so I'm a bit shy and fearful. As I don't love a lot of commotion, I would do really well in a quieter, calm home. I'd love to be the only pet in your home that way I can have all of your attention and not have to share it with any other furry family members.
I'm just a small gal and love to be out exploring, sniffing all the smells, and getting some bursts of energy out. That being said, I'm also a great lounger. I have some hip dysplasia, and a knee that gives me a little trouble, but I've really come around, and it doesn't show that I'm bothered by it. I've really gotten strong, and my foster mom thinks I would be an awesome agility performer.
They say I am a mix of lab and pit, and a couple people that know greyhounds thought I might be that too. What a great combo -- but it will take a good leader and experience in my forever home. I have high prey drive, am extremely fast, and can jump real high.
I've really been coming out of my shell. I've have been working with new people, and my foster mom is so impressed at how easy the transition is away from her. I'm still a teen, so I have to be watched carefully, otherwise, I'm into everything.....which is a great step forward considering how scared I was!
I'm a very good listener, but you have to be sure you're the boss, because sometimes I like to push the limits.
I'm potty trained and kennel trained, especially if you give me a frozen stuffed kong, and some soft music to listen to when you leave me. I do great for bedtime in the kennel, but also love to sleep with you. I know sit, come, kennel-up, and down and we've been working on stay and shake. I even follow sign commands for sit, come, stay, and down.
I think if you are a confident and mellow person, and want a great companion pup, I would be the best girl for you!
If you want to meet me, reach out to Ruff Start, and let me show you my stuff.

If you are interested in getting to know me better, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application . An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
