Tori started volunteering with Ruff Start Rescue in 2020 by assisting with setting up kennels the night prior for the dogs arriving from the out of state transports. She had such a great experience with getting set up for the new canines that before long she was assisting with the transports on the day of as well! After a year of this, she decided to place her first passion (cooking) on the back burner to pursue her passion for animals and accepted the rescue’s Intake Manager position.
Tori has always had a love for animals since she was a child and is thrilled to work for a non-profit organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of animals in need. In Tori’s free time, she can be found outdoors enjoying nature in the summer or winter months. She enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with her seven animals. Tori has four cats and three dogs that have all been rescued, including her most recent dog who she was able to greet from the bus the day it arrived from Texas.
