Sydney joined the Ruff Start Rescue team in fall 2026 as an Intake Support Specialist. She graduated from UW-River Falls with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and is excited to combine her education and lifelong passion for animals with Ruff Start Rescue’s mission of giving animals a second chance. Growing up on her family farm, Sydney was surrounded by animals from an early age. She was always bringing animals home, caring for those in need, or tending to injured wildlife. Her love for animals has continued to grow throughout her life, making her especially passionate about helping animals find safe, healing, and loving homes. She resides in Princeton on her family farm. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, competing with her show horses, and spending time with her rescue dog, Apollo, a Corgi/German Shepherd mix. She is excited to be part of the Ruff Start Rescue team and looks forward to making a positive difference in the lives of animals and the people who care for them.
