Dr. Riddle is the medical director for Ruff Start Rescue®. He worked with Ruff Start® through his veterinary practice for a few years before joining the staff in December 2018. His role is to support the vetting department to provide intake and ongoing medical care for the pets in the rescue. Dr. Riddle graduated from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2000 and worked at a clinic in Prior Lake, Minnesota, for four years before moving to Princeton and starting his own practice. Dr. Riddle also served as the mayor of the city of Princeton for six years.

Dr. Riddle lives in Princeton with his wife, Cindy, pictured; two daughters, Danika and Ainsley; and his English setter, Atreyu. Together they like to camp and kayak, travel to various state and national parks, and spend more time traveling in warmer areas when the winter drags on. They also have two clinic cats, Aspen and Timber, and a whole flock of chickens, who all have names but are too many to list.
