Dr. Kizer
Veterinarian
Dr. Nicky Kizer has lived all over the country but most recently moved to Minnesota from Colorado to be closer to family. She is a mother to two children, a border collie named Hazel, and a cat named Finn. Dr. Kizer is passionate about surgery, dentistry, teaching veterinary students, and increasing access to veterinary care for all.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Kizer has worked with a wide variety of patients, ranging from hamsters to whale sharks. Currently, she works part-time with the University of Minnesota’s veterinary school and the Animal Humane Society. She also serves as co-leader of the St. Paul Street Dog Coalition team.
When not working or volunteering, Dr. Kizer enjoys hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, and exploring breweries.
