Dr. Julinee Kratcha grew up in Shoreview, MN and attended NDSU where she received her Bachelors in Veterinary Technology. She worked at a large, multi-doctor mixed animal practice for several years prior to attending veterinary school at the University of Minnesota. After graduating, she participated in an internship at a small animal referral center in Sacramento, CA. She then returned to Minnesota where she worked as a general practitioner, poison call center toxicologist, and pharmacovigilant specialist prior to finding what she was truly passionate about; wanting to provide affordable care for families and their pets as well as rescue/shelter animals. She worked at a low cost, high volume spay neuter clinic, where she discovered her skill for surgery. She performed thousands of surgeries which also included a variety of soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
Along with working at Ruff Start, Dr. Julinee teaches surgical skills to veterinary technician students. She is hoping to pass on some of her tips/tricks to our future veterinary staff. Dr. Julinee loves to spend time with her husband and two kids, preferably on a lake, fishing!
