Cathy joined the Ruff Start Rescue Board in 2026 and is a passionate advocate for animal welfare. An active animal foster and rescuer since childhood, Cathy loves caring for those who need it most.
As founder and CEO of a consulting firm, Cathy spends her days working with local to international nonprofits and purpose-driven companies, helping them amplify their impact and navigate transitions successfully. She brings over 35 years of leadership, operations and strategy experience to her clients, and is honored to put those skills to work as part of the Ruff Start Rescue team.
A resident of Nordeast Minneapolis, Cathy is the proud mom of two sons, Emmett and Sam, and the family’s amazing RSR rescue Maple. Outside of work, you’d most likely spot Cathy at a hockey rink watching her sons play, or enjoying her favorite hobbies like cooking, the arts, being outdoors, and taking Maple on long walks.
