RSR Rangers & Education Fall Series Event: Pet Nutrition
Ruff Start Rangers, a program within the Education Department, aims to educate youth through service and activities in hopes the future of animal welfare sees fewer homeless pets and more responsible pet owners. All themes in this series come from this program.
This month, we’re diving into what pets need to stay healthy from the inside out. Kids will learn the basics of balanced nutrition for cats and dogs, how to read pet food labels, common myths about feeding pets, and how treats fit into a healthy diet. We’ll also explore how nutrition changes with age, activity level, and health needs. After the presentation, families will participate in a hands‑on activity that helps kids practice making smart, safe choices for their pets’ well‑being.
When signing up, please include parents and kids in the total admission number so we have an idea of how many will be in attendance.
