Hi! My name is Zane, but my foster mom likes to call me “In-Zane!” Once you get to know me, you’ll probably understand why. 😂
I’m a handsome grey-and-white tuxedo kitten about 3 months old, and I came into rescue as one of six siblings.
When we first moved in with our foster family, I quickly earned a reputation as the wild child. While my siblings were busy hovering around the humans looking for attention, I had much more important things to do—like running, chasing, exploring and generally being EXTREME!
My foster mom says I’m the roughhouser of the group, but between you and me, my siblings are just as crazy. I just happen to get caught! We love chasing each other around, wrestling and doing all the silly things kittens do.
For a while, I wasn’t all that interested in snuggling with my foster family. I was pretty independent and perfectly happy letting my siblings soak up all the attention. But recently, almost all of my siblings have found their forever homes. Now it’s just Reggie and me, and I have a little confession to make…
I actually really like my humans. ❤️
With fewer siblings competing for attention, my softer side has started coming out. When my humans finally sit down to relax, I’m beginning to settle in beside them and enjoy being close. Apparently, underneath all this “In-Zane” energy is a pretty sweet little guy!
I’m also learning my house manners. I’m working on remembering that furniture isn’t for scratching, and my foster mom says I’m catching on quickly.
Overall, I’m a fun, playful and independent kitten who also enjoys having another kitten around to wrestle and play with. And as I get older, I’m discovering that spending time with my humans is actually pretty great, too.
Watching my siblings leave one by one has been a little sad, and I’m ready for it to be my turn.
So, if you’re looking for a kitten who will make you laugh, keep you entertained, play hard and then surprise you by curling up next to you at the end of the day…
Maybe you need a little In-Zane in your life. 🩶🤍🐾

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
