Meet Sergio! 🐾 This happy, energetic guy is equal parts adventure buddy, cuddle bug, and professional tennis-ball destroyer. He loves being part of the family and is always ready for a walk, a little zoomie session, or some quality couch time.

Sergio is wonderfully affectionate and has no trouble asking for attention. He’ll climb right into your lap or curl up beside you on the couch with a toy to chew. He’s also a fantastic crate guy, settling quietly during the day and sleeping peacefully through the night. His crate stays clean, and he reliably goes to the door when he needs to head outside.

This boy LOVES tennis balls! He enjoys fetch, but eventually his inner toy demolition expert takes over. Tennis balls are meant to be chased, retrieved, and then disassembled into their tiniest possible pieces. Soft toys get the same treatment—Sergio is determined to find those squeakers! 😂 A steady supply of new tennis balls is highly recommended.

Sergio enthusiastically greets new people and dogs. He may bark at first, but settles quickly and does well in an active household with people coming and going. He gets along with his resident dog, and the two occasionally enjoy a good game of zoomie-chase. High-value toys and treats should be managed separately around other dogs.

Cats, however, are a definite no-go. Sergio is far too interested in them and will chase them, so he needs a cat-free home.

Sergio knows sit, waits for his food, walks well with a Gentle Leader, and is working on his heel and other training skills. He shouldn’t be left alone for long stretches during the day and does best when his potty signal at the door gets a quick response.

Sergio would make a wonderful solo pup for an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, and a little daily entertainment. Give him some tennis balls and a comfy couch, and Sergio will take care of the rest! 🎾🐾
