The Story of Mischief

Mischief is a loving 6-year-old cat who’s had her world turned upside down. After the heartbreaking loss of her owner, Mischief came to Ruff Start Rescue in search of a fresh start. While adjusting to the changes, Mischief has been a trooper, but she’s facing some health challenges that need urgent attention.
Mischief has been living with bladder stones for over a year. While they’re not immediately critical, they must be removed through surgery—specifically a cystotomy, which will cost between $500 to $800. We want to make sure Mischief is comfortable and healthy so she can live a happy, pain-free life.
Despite these health issues, Mischief is a sweet and affectionate girl who craves companionship and love. She’ll follow her foster family around the room, always hoping for a cuddle or some attention. Mischief has never lived with other animals, but she’s not aggressive toward them at all—she just wants to be close to her humans. Her foster family believes she would make the perfect couch companion, someone to curl up next to and enjoy quiet moments with.
