Last week, we shared the heartbreaking story of Coal, a newborn puppy rescued from a home where he was living alongside 23 other dogs. This is the home where these dogs were abandoned, surrounded by 4 inches of their own feces. The conditions are beyond words, and our hearts break seeing the suffering they endured. We don’t know how long they were trapped there, and unfortunately, authorities are unable to determine who abandoned them.
Despite everything, these dogs are friendly, trusting, and eager to love—showing the incredible resilience and loyalty of dogs. We were able to save Coal, but many of his housemates are still at a local impound, waiting for rescue. These dogs need your help. Can you open your heart and home to foster one of them?
The neglect these dogs have experienced is unimaginable, and it’s especially heart-wrenching during the coldest months and the holiday season.
