This sweet 1-year-old pup is on her way to Granite City today for surgery to address an old pelvic injury that has impacted her daily life. Rescued from the Jacinto City Pound in Texas, Puma may have been hit by a car before finding her way to rescue. She’s been experiencing pain, limping, and yelping at times, but today marks a new beginning with her pelvic surgery.
Despite her challenges, Puma is a lively and playful girl brimming with love. She gets along wonderfully with kids of all ages and thrives on exercise, enjoying busy play sessions before settling down for some well-deserved rest. Puma loves splashing around in the pup pool and enjoys being brushed. Her gentle and affectionate nature makes her a joy to be around.
Puma also has a fun-loving side—she adores tossing shoes around and engaging with treat puzzles. Her favorite snacks include Cheerios, bananas, and cooked peas and carrots.
The cost of Puma’s surgery is estimated between $800 and $1,000, and she will likely need about six weeks of physical therapy afterward. Please help us cover her expenses so she can join her new family!
