8-week-old Ginger was found as a stray by the roadside, and tragically, one of her littermates lost their life. Thankfully, Ginger and her sister, Pepper, were rescued and brought to us. During a vet visit, it was discovered that poor Ginger has a broken femur.
Ginger is the sweetest kitten. She instantly purrs whenever someone pets her and loves to be in laps or arms for snuggles. Despite the pain she endures, she handles it with grace and still tries her best to keep up with the other kittens. Ginger has so much love to give, shining through her bright eyes, playful spirit, and endless purrs.
She’s scheduled for surgery tomorrow, 10/9, at Granite City to repair her injury, which will cost around $800. In addition to her surgery, Ginger will need to be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, along with Pepper, adding to the total expenses. Our top priority is getting Ginger’s leg fixed first.
