Update: This guy is joining Ruff Start on 5/10!
This majestic fella found his way to a local impound after roaming as a stray. Around 5 years old, he’s got the distinguished charm of a handsome cane corso mix.
Despite his big presence, he came in seriously underweight and is looking for a foster home to help him bounce back. He greets you with a booming bark, but he’s all sweetness, eager to connect with people and enjoy some playtime. He even offered his stuffed lamb to our intake rep when they came by his kennel – such a charmer!
He’s been mellow around other dogs at the kennel, quietly watching them go by. While he might warm up to another pup with a slow intro, he seems content with his own company, finding his peace away from the hustle and bustle.
If he is able to become a member of the Ruff Start family, he’ll receive comprehensive routine care, including neutering and vaccinations. Additionally, our veterinary team will carefully assess his leg, as he occasionally exhibits a limp or stiffness while walking.
Join us all through May as we spread the word and gather support for Minnesota’s animals in need through our #LocalLove campaign to recruit fosters for 30 local pets.
