The Story of Stella

Today, 6-month-old Stella, a new Ruff Starter, is spending the day with our veterinary team. She is recovering from a double entropion surgery, which occurred this morning. Entropion is an abnormality of the eyelids in which the eyelid rolls inward. This inward rolling often causes the hair on the eyelid’s surface to rub against the cornea resulting in pain, corneal ulcers, perforations, or pigment developing on the cornea, which can interfere with vision. Stella has been living with this painful condition her entire life.
This 32-pound sweetheart loves to run and play with friends, human and animal alike. Stella will finally be able to live a pain-free life full of adventure with her new family. Please consider donating to Stella’s care to cover the medical expenses that have made it possible for her to see all the beauty life has to offer. ❤
